The Cherwell Hospital is located within the grounds of Horton General Hospital in Banbury, directly opposite the Accident and Emergency department.

Travelling by Car

If you are using a sat nav the postcode to input is OX16 9FG.

From M40, Junction 11

At junction 11 roundabout, take the A422 direction Banbury. Straight over at the first roundabout. At the next roundabout, turn left on to A4260 Cherwell St. Continue along Cherwell St. Straight over at the roundabout, this becomes Upper Windsor St. At the T-junction turn left on to Oxford Rd. The Cherwell Hospital is on the left.

From Oxford

Coming in on the A4260 Oxford Rd, The Cherwell Hospital is on the right. From Coventry. Coming in on the A423, at the Southam Rd roundabout turn left towards M40. At the next roundabout turn right on to A4260 Cherwell St. Continue along Cherwell St. Straight over at the roundabout, this becomes Upper Windsor St. At the T-junction turn left on to Oxford Rd. The Cherwell Hospital the left.

From Stratford

From A422 straight over 3 roundabouts on to B4100 Warwick Rd. At the T-junction, turn right on to Bar St. Straight on at the roundabout. The Cherwell Hospital Centre is on the left.

The car park is owned and operated by Oxford University Hospitals Trust and is pay and display. Please see the charges below:

  • Up to 30 minutes - Free
  • 30 minutes to 1 hour - £1.40
  • 1 to 2 hours - £2.80
  • 2 to 3 hours - £4.20
  • 3 to 4 hours - £5.60
  • Over 4 hours - £7.00
  • 8pm to 8am - Free
There is a change machine located just inside the main entrance of The Cherwell Hospital.

By Rail
