He then undertook a one-year international fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery in Australia, and a second specialist shoulder and elbow fellowship in Coventry before commencing his consultant post. Mr Bhabra has presented and published extensively in the field of shoulder and elbow surgery. He was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine(M.D.) by the University of Bristol for his work on orthopaedic biomaterials used in joint replacement surgery.He is currently engaged in clinical trials at Warwick University, and is a clinical tutor and lecturer to Warwick medical students and trainees on the Warwick Orthopaedic training program.
